Happy Sunday, friends! I made these 100% raw + vegan bars two days ago, and they’re already gone, so I had to share. Here’s how to make this yummy treat in under an hour:
Inspired by: Free People and Trinity’s Conscious Kitchen
Ingredients:
Main part:
- 2 cups pitted dates (I used medjool dates)
- 1/2 cup raw sunflower seeds
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 1/2 to 2/3 creamed coconut grated
- 1/2 cup desiccated coconut (I had to google this, and I’ll save you the trouble: click here!)
Chocolate coconut topping:
- 1/3 cup coconut oil
- 1/3-1/2 cup creamed coconut or coconut butter
- 3 heaped tablespoons raw cacao powder
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
